HR - Employee Relations Team Leader

South Manchester (Hybrid working)

£40,000 per annum

Our client, an independent not-for-profit organisation, is seeking to appoint experienced ER Team Leader to join their team based in South Manchester. This people focused employer, firmly holds their values at the core of everything they do. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team with a hybrid agile working - normally 2 days in the office.

This role will involve:

  • Leading a team of Employee Relations specialists.
  • Analysing management information relating to staff turnover, sickness absence etc.
  • Guiding and coaching people managers in relation to all employment law, employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Partnering with the HR Team to ensure that goals and objectives across the business are met.
  • Providing support to the wider HR Team in relation to the wider business plan and other strategic projects as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Solid understanding of employment law and excellent experience leading on complex case work in a multi-site, diverse operation.
  • CIPD level 5 qualified
  • Experience supporting the professional development of individuals/teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide managers through formal processes and procedures.
  • Flexible approach to addressing business challenges and creating actionable solutions.
  • Organised, with strong prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will be expected to travel to other offices within the business as required.
