Position Overview:

As the Head of HR, you will oversee the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. You will play a key role in building a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and people management skills, who can drive HR transformation and foster a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee recruitment processes to attract top talent, and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee engagement.
  • Performance Management: Design and manage performance evaluation systems to ensure high levels of employee performance and professional development.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Learning & Development: Develop and manage training and development programs that enhance employee skills, leadership abilities, and career growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with market standards.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date, compliant with legal standards, and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a welcoming and respectful workplace for all employees.
  • HR Analytics: Utilize data and HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within the commercial insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on driving performance and fostering collaboration.
  • Experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align HR initiatives with broader business goals.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification is preferred.
