Key Responsibilities:Human Resources:
  • Develop and maintain the company's HR Management System in line with ISO accreditation, covering time management, absenteeism, disciplinary actions, and training records.
  • Assist management in understanding and implementing HR policies and procedures, including staff performance and health and safety.
  • Oversee the recruitment process: drafting job descriptions, preparing advertisements, reviewing applications, and shortlisting candidates for interviews.
  • Develop and implement policies related to working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
  • Prepare staff handbooks and advise on pay and other remuneration matters.
  • Conduct HR meetings with staff to address issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Administer payroll: calculate time sheets weekly and manage the holiday system to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Maintain accurate staff records and ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Develop HR strategies for short-term and long-term staff planning.
  • Plan and deliver staff training, including inductions for new employees, and analyse training needs in collaboration with departmental managers.
  • Develop a reporting system for training and create a time line to ensure adherence by management and supervisors.
  • Provide weekly and monthly HR reports to management.
  • Transition staff records from paper-based to electronic formats.
Company Compliance:
  • Ensure the company's compliance register is current, including all memberships and training requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO standards, Environmental, SHEQ, Hazardous Waste Alert Systems, First Aid, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Organise external training programs to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Collaborate with auditors for ISO and BAM certifications.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Human Resources.
  • Compliance experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
