Role: HR Manager Location: North West Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months) - Full Time Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (will be pro ratad) Eden Brown are seeking an experience HR manager for a Further Education College in the North West and wondered if it could be of interest to you. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated HR Manager to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting the college through a period of strategic transformation and growth. There is option for hybrid working also, 2 days a week from home. Key Responsibilities: As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and operational support across the entire HR function. Key responsibilities include: - Employee Relations: Provide guidance and manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management. - Recruitment & Retention: Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent across the college. - HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and college policies, while contributing to the development and review of HR policies and procedures. - Learning & Development: Support the college's professional development programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - HR Projects: Lead or contribute to key HR initiatives, including change management, workforce planning, and organisational development. - Advisory Role: Provide expert advice and support to managers and staff on HR best practices. Essential Requirements: - Proven experience as an HR Manager, ideally in the education or public sector. - Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. - Experience managing employee relations issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. - CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent qualification) is desirable. - Experience managing HR projects or change initiatives.
