I am delighted to be partnering with a leading international professional services firm in Manchester to help them recruit an HR Manager. This organisation is renowned for what they do and have an impressive portfolio of work and clients. They believe in delivering world class solutions and making a positive difference across the world.

Salary is up to £50K+ benefits and hybrid working of 3 days on site is being offered.

As the HR Manager you will provide all support to the HR team and have responsibility for the Northern Region, which is 350+ employees. This is a matrix structure where you will report into the HR Director with dotted lines to Executive Directors in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Sheffield. The role covers all operational HR activity to include, providing expert advice and guidance to directors and line managers on best practice, complex case work, planning, management and support on consultation activities.

You will support and coach line managers on capability performance and sickness absence and will ensure effective, employee relations matters such as: probationary reviews, disciplinary, grievance investigations are dealt with.

You will be a key point of contact when it comes to people, policy and process improvement and support the HR Director to implement company-wide change and ensure the HR strategy is delivered across the North.

To be successful in this role you will be CIPD Level 7 qualified with an impressive background of working as an HR Manager in an operational role within a Professional Services environment. You must demonstrate extensive employee relations experience, with the ability to identify risk and work towards providing sustainable solutions.

You will have worked within a complex matrix structure ideally within a partnership business. You will be a confident team manager with strong attention to detail and the ability to influence others and make strategic decisions. Your hands on and flexible approach along with your excellent communication skills and ability within generalist HR will be of real interest to my client.
