With the continued expansion of our award-winning data centre design and build business, Sudlows, who work globally, have a growing portfolio of projects and have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our successful business.
Reporting into the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will play a large role in contributing to wider, generalist HR duties whilst ensuring the smooth running of recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the key point of contact, working closely with Management to provide best practice advice on topics including disciplinary, capability and absence management
- Writing and updating HR policies ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Advising line managers and staff on HR policies, best practices, and employment law matters.
- Supporting with the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle
- Maintaining absence data and producing absence reports to inform the payroll process
- Using the ADP HRIS to access, input and compile data
- HR Project work as required
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, providing HR advisory support at all levels
- CIPD qualification (or working towards). Will consider equivalent level of experience if suitable.
- Proficient in using HR Systems
- Skilled in providing advice across a full range of employee relation matters and a sound knowledge of current employment legislation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and independently
- Ability to consistently produce accurate work to a high standard
- Recognises and practices the importance of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive matters and data
Whilst the role is based in Chadderton, there will be some occasional travel to the Manchester office.
Remuneration package will be based on skills and experience.
