We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority in Manchester to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join their Human Resources Team!

As a HR Advisor, you'll provide critical support in employee relations, offering practical solutions to workplace challenges while ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Manage a portfolio of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees throughout the case-handling process.
  • Ensure all cases are resolved in a timely, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures to support decision-making.
  • Advise on and implement changes to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with legal developments, ensuring that best practices are followed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduate CIPD Member - Part-qualified or actively studying for CIPD certification.
  • Case Management Expertise - You've handled complex cases with confidence.

Policy Knowledge - You can read, interpret, and execute organisational policies seamlessly.

  • Employment Law Acumen - A strong understanding to guide decisions and drive outcomes.
