Ashley Kate HR are excited to be partnering with our well established manufacturing client in Manchester, as they recruit for an interim Senior HR Advisor, for an 18 month fixed term contract. Our client are a global business, with a long history and a passion for their products! The role is site based, full or part time considered.

Due to a period of change, The Senior HR Advisor will be responsible for the overall operational HR for the site. Due to the vast amounts of change, we are seeking a highly experienced HR professional, who can adapt in a changing environment, support the workforce and bring a positive and productive attitude to this role. You will manage a generalist remit, acting as support for staff from shop floor to senior management. Report on HR and attend meetings with the senior leadership team, manage absence and performance issues, coach and advise management on process, and manage a number of Employee relations cases. We seek a candidate with strong ER experience who can embed a positive outlook with a passion for engagement, who can instill the companies strong values.

The successful candidate:

  • Proven background working at a Senior HR Advisor or BP Level
  • Experience of working within the private sector - manufacturing/Blue collar environment
  • Immediately available and able to commit to 18 month FTC
  • Available for onsite working (Full or part time considered)
  • CIPD qualified
  • Strong UK Employment Law Knowledge
  • Strong experience in managing a wide range of ER up to complex cases
  • Exceptional at building relationships, communication & excellent leadership skills
