An exciting opportunity has arisen with a large social enterprise for a Stakeholder Account Manager to join the Local Authority team. The Account Manager will form a close relationship with Oldham Council and understand their economic strategy for the new year.
The role of the Local Authority Account Manager is to lead the relationship between the Oldham Council and the social enterprise. Working in partnership with colleagues from Specialist Services and Local Authorities, the Account Manager will take the lead to ensure business support is inclusive, place-based and matches the ambitions of the Oldham Council.
Key Duties:

  • Establish a strong relationship between the organisation and Oldham Council, build trust and understand their specific ambitions and challenges.
  • Have detailed knowledge of the local economic strategy including supporting its creation and evolvement and ensuring the business support inclusion and participation in relevant economic forums.
  • Be the lead point of contact between all areas of the social enterprise and Oldham Council for operational and business support activity.
  • Have a full understanding of Oldham’s priorities and challenges and convey these back into the wider group
  • Work in partnership with colleagues from specialist service to deliver activity to generate economic impact.
  • Develop a plan in collaboration with Oldham for delivery activity and have an awareness of all delivery within each district.
