Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a high-impact contract role. This opportunity allows you to work on re-architecting a digital platform for better quality and efficiency. You will be part of the Infrastructure and Integration epic, collaborating with colleagues to design, build, and deploy platform components that enhance product team operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing declarative pipelines for building, testing, and deploying workloads using tools like Jenkins and Gitlab.
- Utilising Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and configure Kubernetes and Openshift services with tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Chef.
- Managing and deploying containerisation technologies.
- Implementing monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Working within Agile methodologies and practices to drive project success.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in building declarative pipelines using Jenkins or Gitlab.
- Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Helm, and Chef.
- Strong background in containerisation technology.
- Knowledge and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with financial services is advantageous.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
