First-Line IT Support Technician | On-Site: Manchester City Centre | Contract Opportunity | Immediate Start | Up to £125 per day

Reporting to: IT Support Team Leader

Company Overview:

Our client is an award-winning global organisation that has received multiple accolades, including recognition in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For.

They are currently seeking an IT Technician to work from their Manchester Head Office. Please note this will be an on-site role with 5 days per week working in the office. Please ensure to only apply if you are within less than 1 hour commutable distance and are happy to go on-site for the duration of the contract (likely 3-4 months).

Responsibilities:

General duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Working with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure
  • Support and supply of laptops, headsets, and peripherals
  • Troubleshooting IT issues across a wide range of technologies
  • Updating the ticket management system to maintain detailed records of incidents/resolutions
  • Maintaining technical documentation in the knowledge base
  • Assisting the wider business with project-related work
  • Maintaining the asset database
Experience Needed:
  • Minimum 2+ years in a service desk or IT support role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
