About the Role

We are seeking a Solution Architect with a strong Microsoft C# and .NET development background to join our well-established business in Manchester. As part of our Technology Governance Team, you will act as the Technical Design Authority for all development initiatives, ensuring best practices, defining end-to-end solutions, and aligning integration patterns within the organisation.



Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document solution architectures to align with business and technical objectives.
  • Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert (SME), guiding teams through all phases of development.
  • Conduct requirement analysis, assess feasibility, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure best practices in system integration, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product and business teams, translating technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify architectural improvements and drive innovation within the organisation.
  • Maintain and oversee technical documentation, ensuring compliance with IT security frameworks.


Skills & Experience Required

? Strong background in .NET development (C#) with experience in web app frameworks.
? Proven expertise in API-driven architecture, microservices, and data integration.
? Familiarity with architectural frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) and industry best practices.
? Experience designing scalable, high-performance solutions.
? Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance frameworks.
? Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
