My client based in Manchester are looking for a Solutions Architect on an inital 3 month contract Inside of IR35
This will be working on a hybrid basis, of which you will be required to be on site at least 2 days a week
The team are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Solution Architect to join their Architecture Team within their ITS Strategy & Architecture division. As part of this specialised team, you will play a crucial role in designing and governing the architectural landscape, while translating IT strategy into design principles and standards.
What will you do?
Collaborate with the Evolve programme to deliver stable and highly available IT services aligned with the organistions needs.
Lead the "Colleague Compute" and "Environments" workstreams, ensuring improved experiences for users.
Develop and implement strategies for PC cluster provisioning, hardware upgrades, and automation technology.
Foster stronger connections between IT Services and the Learning community.
Build on-demand, high availability, and reusable environments, leveraging industry-standard tools such as Nutanix, VMWare, and Terraform.
Enhance release management, data obfuscation technologies, and governance processes.
Apply your expertise in technologies like Parallels, AppsAnywhere, Tanium, Nutanix, VMWare, and Terraform to drive effective virtual solution architecture.
