A leading multi-national organisation located in Wythenshawe who are committed to excellence in providing seamless on site IT solutions are looking to expand their team and seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational efficiency of their IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrating a strong customer focus while completing all tasks.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software and End User problems with a deep understanding and acknowledgement of issues.
  • Working with and understanding Desktop and Server operating systems, applications, and database platforms.
  • Reacting to escalated queries with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Managing your own and the team's ticket queue, adhering to defined KPIs and SLAs.
  • Ensuring all customer queries/issues are resolved within a timely manner, whether remotely or face to face.
  • Building and managing all end-user devices, including Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Mobile Phones, and Printers.
  • Supporting any application issues, such as Office 365 and off-the-shelf applications, ensuring all business needs are met.
  • Ensuring an excellent user experience when using company assets through continuous hardware improvements to prevent performance degradation.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Proven experience in IT support roles up to a 2nd line support level.

Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software.

Familiarity with Desktop and Server operating systems, applications, and databases.
