  • The Maintenance Team-Leader will manage a team of 3 electrical engineers and 2 apprentices while reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Candidates must be apprentice trained with formal qualifications in electrical engineering and possess strong fault-finding abilities.
  • This full-time position is based Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with an early finish on Fridays and is commutable from areas such as Bolton, Oldham, Stockport, and Manchester.

We are currently assisting a Leading organisation in their search for Maintenance Team-Leader Electrically Trained

This is an opportunity to join an already established maintenance team, and to join a company who have Sites throughout the UK as well as overseas. A company who drives training and development on site and pride themselves on a good working environment.

The Maintenance Team-Leader with support a Team of 3 electrical engineers and X2 Apprentices, reporting directly into the Maintenance Manager.

Shift requirements: Monday to Friday Days 8am till 5pm - Early finish on Friday.

The Maintenance Team-leaders role is Commutable from the following locations: Bolton / Oldham / Stockport / Manchester

Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Team-leader:

  • Working closely with the Maintenance Manager
  • Material Control Making sure all Parts, Tools and materials are available
  • Provide Support and resource on Project work
  • Carry out inspections and audits, provide advice and feedback and support as and when needed.
  • Ensure Deadlines are met on Plant
  • Supporting permanent engineers as well as Contractors on Plant.
  • Attend maintenance meetings as and when required.


Experience the Maintenance team leader will hold:

  • Previous experience within a Team-leaders roles Senior position
  • Experienced within FMCG / Manufacturing / Heavy engineering environments
  • Must be Electrically biased Strong Fault-finding abilities.
  • Hold Good leadership skill / Great Communicator.
  • Able to use Excel / Power point / Word and Email.
  • Must be apprentice trained holding formal qualifications in electrical engineering.
