Warehouse, Assembly & Installation Operative
£25,000 - £40,000 per year (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Trafford Park, Manchester (Travel across the UK required)

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge as a Warehouse, Assembly, and Installation Operative? Join our client’s dynamic team based in Trafford Park, Manchester. As part of the role, you’ll be responsible for assembling components in the warehouse, then installing them across the UK, with full support from the company (including a van for travel and overnight stays).
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with the potential for overtime.
- Assembly: Assemble Ultra Flow canopies, medical gas pendants, and other components.
- Installation: On-site installation of 1st and 2nd fix Ultra Flow canopies and associated systems.
- Service Support: Assist with HEPA filter and fan changes as needed.
- Travel: Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally (all expenses paid including hotels).
- Team & Independent Work: Collaborate with your team or take ownership of tasks on your own.
- Mobile Availability: Be contactable at all times via mobile phone.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse assembly, installation, or similar roles. Experience with ductwork installation is a plus but not required.
- Technical Skills: Use of hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, hacksaws, etc.) and power tools (SDS drills, jigsaws, grinders).
- Engineer Background: Desirable but not mandatory.
- Qualifications:
- Clean driving license (required)
- CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA, and Forklift Truck license (preferred)
- Understanding of technical drawings
- Personal Qualities:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic IT knowledge
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A friendly, professional attitude when interacting with clients
