Full Job Description
Our client is looking for an menswear designer from junior to mid-level to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sportswear fashion and a keen eye for detail.
The Role
- Assist in the creation and development of innovative menswear sportswear collections.
- Prepare detailed trend packs
- Participate in fit sessions.
- Dealing with day to day requests and finding solutions to any issues.
- Conduct trend analysis, design presentations and competitor reports to advise on future trends and key product direction.
- Manage the sampling process by following the critical path
- Build strong relationships with suppliers
Requirements
- At least 1 year design experience.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit and fabrics.
- Well developed understanding of fashion trends
- Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator skills
- Time management skills will the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines
