Menswear Senior Designer - Woven Bottom

Due to continued growth my client who are a successful supplier to some of the biggest retailers in the UK and internationally is looking for an experienced casual woven bottoms menswear designer. This role will be working for one of their major accounts who are one of the largest fashion forward retailers a, commercial portfolio and the ability to interpret trends with speed to market is key .Men's multiproduct experience with an emphasis on woven bottoms is desirable for this role . Previous supplier experience is required for this role. The role does offer some Hybrid workingMain Duties and responsibilities will include.

• Complete trend research, design and develop ranges working with the overseas factories.
• Work closely and liaise with factories in Bangladesh China and Sri Lanka
• Ability to create bestselling ranges.
• Attend regular meetings and present to buyers when required.
• Required to work in a fast-paced environment, high volume design/development
• Sourcing of new fabrics and trims

Person Specifications :

• Menswear woven bottom Design experience
• Previous supplier experience working with large volume retailers.
• Good understanding of garment costing
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Ability to present and conduct meetings with buyers
• Confident and able to conduct meetings
