Job Opportunity: Visualiser CAD / Sketchup Designer (Full-Time)
Location: Manchester (Head Office M6, near Salford University)
Salary: 33,000 - 38,000 (DOE)
Reporting to: Managing Director
We are seeking a talented and motivated Visualiser CAD / Sketchup Designer to join our dynamic team at our Manchester office. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, with the potential to progress into a client-facing or external sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D and 3D drawings for manufacturing and customer use, detailing specific components in metal, wood, and plastic.
- Produce scale layouts of sites or equipment in line with project specifications.
- Maintain and distribute drawings, ensuring archive records are up to date and accessible.
- Liaise with the procurement team to produce CAD drawings for equipment sourcing and procurement, ensuring specifications match samples.
- Assist in the buying process by sourcing components and ensuring fit for purpose.
- Conduct site surveys and produce accurate drawings of existing and required layouts.
- Prepare applications for Local Authorities (Planning, Building Regulations) and landlords.
Requirements:
- Fully proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, and Word.
- Strong working knowledge of Building Regulations and Disability Discrimination Act requirements.
- Experience in producing detailed drawings for manufacturing purposes.
- Ability to detail metal, wood, and plastic components.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
