This opening is a great opportunity for someone wanting to take a step up as a Senior Handler dealing with a varied caseload of clinical negligence / medmal claims ranging in complexity.
About the Role:
Part of the complex claims team, you will be working together to achieve both the team's objectives and your own. As a Senior Handler, you will have exposure to different claims within complex and large loss where you will be fully responsible for your workload and be involved in key projects within the Claims function. You will be responsible for handling files which can range from £100,000 to £500k in value where you will have autonomy in liability decisions as well as settling claims on best terms.
This is a unique role where you will have exposure to claims within the UK as well as Internationally through Lloyds platforms. You will also have exposure/the opportunity to meet with clients and be involved in claims presentations as well as working with key stakeholders.
Required Skills:
We are looking to speak to experienced claims handlers or professionals from either an insurance or legal background such as solicitors or paralegals that have liability, clinical negligence or medical malpractice experience.
Location:
This is a hybrid working role and will be required to be in the central Manchester office 3 days a week.
