Core Responsibilities:

As a Billing Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the fee collection processes. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Liaising daily with legal professionals to address queries and resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborating with professional clients to foster strong relationships and streamline internal systems for efficient billing
  • Conducting aged debt reviews alongside other team members.
  • Processing BACS payments
  • Handling weekly and monthly remittance statements
  • Updating both internal and external systems
  • Adhering to stringent deadlines

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in a billing, finance or accounts role
  • Strong IT skills, with a high level of numeracy for interpreting numerical data.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with colleagues and external professional contacts.
  • Experience of working as part of a small team

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in a legal cashier or credit control role
  • Familiarity with the legal sector
