An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transaction Processing Clerk to join a leading national property developer with regional operations across the UK. This role is based in Manchester City Centre on a part time basis (circa 22-28 hours per week). My client is offering a high degree of flexibility around working hours dependant on the successful candidate's requirements.

What you'll do:

As a Transaction Processing Clerk, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth financial operations within the company.

  • Process invoices onto the finance system on a daily basis
  • Take calls and answer emails from suppliers chasing payment & chase invoices as appropriate
  • Deal with supplier queries and resolution of issues in a timely manner
  • Produce payment runs and input ad-hoc payments
  • Set up new suppliers and adhere to strict guidelines
  • Liaise with the Residential Marketing team to correctly deal with utility and rates bills for residential properties
  • Assist with raising purchase orders
  • Monitor shared mailboxes

The ideal candidate for the Transaction Processing Clerk role will bring strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Attention to detail - accuracy and speed when dealing with numerical and verbal data
  • Self-motivated - approaches tasks with drive, energy and enthusiasm
  • Computer literacy - knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of Coins ERP system would be beneficial but not essential
