Alexander Lloyd is partnered with a Pension's Consultancy who provide Pensions Administration, Actuarial and Trustee services! Our client is looking to hire a Senior Pensions Administrator to their BAU Administration team. This is a hybrid working role, 2 days a week in the office, 3x days working from home. This role can be aligned to the either their Belfast, Glasgow or Manchester office depending on the location of the candidate.

About the role:

As a Senior Pensions Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the administration aspects of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes on behalf of the scheme trustees. The team carry out all types of exercises from winding up schemes and calculating member's pension benefits to carrying out forensic research for schemes where we have been appointed by The Pensions Regulator, all the while providing an excellent service to the members. You will become the key contact to pension members and clients, answering queires via telephone and email, liaising and dealing with trustees and attending trustee meetings.

Experience required:

  • 3- 5 years pensions administration experience, working with Defined Benefit schemes
  • Strong technical understanding around UK pensions legilsation, regulations and codes of practise
  • Experience of dealing and managing ad-hoc and annual pension projects, such as scheme events.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to articulate and communicate with scheme members, pensions trustees and other relevant third parties.
  • The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent service to clients and pension members.
