Are you an experienced Town Planner looking for the next step in your career? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Town Planner to join a leading consultancy based in Manchester. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where you can work on a wide range of exciting projects and make a real impact within the planning sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert planning advice and guidance on a variety of development projects, from strategic planning to detailed development management.
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of planning applications and planning appeals.
  • Undertake research and analysis to inform planning strategies and reports.
  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients, fostering strong relationships and securing approvals.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to business development and identifying opportunities for growth within the team.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Town Planning (or related field) and membership of the RTPI (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in town planning, including expertise in development management and strategic planning.
  • Strong project management skills and a proven track record of leading projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a passion for delivering high-quality planning solutions.
