Penguin Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading UK multi-disciplinary consultancy to recruit a talented Senior Town Planner to join their growing northern team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an award-winning team of planning and environmental experts, contributing to a diverse and stimulating project portfolio, which includes infrastructure, sustainable development, renewable energy, and industrial projects, among others.

We're looking for an experienced planner with a relevant degree and ideally MRTPI Chartership. Candidates with experience in the EIA process or those with a solid background in strategic planning and policy development are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a range of town planning projects, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national policies.
Provide expert guidance on planning applications, master planning, site development, and infrastructure initiatives.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive solutions for both public and private sector clients.
Foster and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and strategic planning advice.
Successfully manage planning applications, appeals, and policy submissions.
Mentor junior planning staff, supporting their professional growth and development.
