My client, a leading planning consultancy known for delivering innovative, strategic, and client-focused planning solutions, is looking for a Town Planner to join the Manchester team! They work across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments.

Role Overview as a Town Planner:
As a Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of planning applications and projects. You'll work closely with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet both client objectives and statutory requirements. You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting developments in and around Manchester, contributing to shaping the future of the region.

Key Requirements as a Town Planner:

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • MRTPI qualification (or working towards it) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in managing planning applications and development projects, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
