We are excited to be working with a well-established public sector organisation in their search for a Junior Employment Solicitor. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on legal experience in Employment Law.
Duties:
- To advise, assist and represent the Chief Officers and wider organisation in all employment related legal issues as required
- To assist in the analysis of grievances, claims and Employment Tribunals enabling trends to be monitored, including differences between different groups, identifying lessons to be learnt and allowing discrimination to be tackled
- To represent or arrange for the representation of the organisation in all tribunals and courts in connection with employment related matters
- To carry out debriefs following conclusion of Employment Tribunals or other litigated cases
Start: April/May 2025
Duration: 12-month maternity cover
Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours a week (can offer flexibility)
Travel: Hybrid, office attendance 2-3 days a week
Location: Greater Manchester, UK
Rate: Daily umbrella rate of £215-250
Suitable candidates must be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx. Candidates with previous legal experience in public and private sectors are encouraged to apply.
