Legal Counsel

Manchester - Hybrid working

Sellick Partnership are pleased to be working with a major company within the hospitality sector looking for a Legal Counsel to join the in-house legal team permanently.

As a Legal Counsel, you will join a supportive in-house legal team working on various commercial work. The successful Legal Counsel will ideally be able to hit the ground running and have previous experience working in-house within the retail, food or hospitality industries and/or have relevant experience gained working within Private Practice.

The Legal Counsel will be able to benefit from flexible working arrangements, being based out of the office in Manchester.

This role could also offer the opportunity to gain management experience, with the ability to mentor more junior members of the team over time.

As a Legal Counsel, your role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Ensure contracts are legally robust and in line with policies and procedures, playbook and sign off process
  • Draft and negotiate key client and supplier contract
  • Work closely with our internal clients and stakeholders
  • Lead or assist in the negotiation and re-negotiation process in relation to client contracts
