As part of our clients ongoing growth and commitment to excellence, we are looking for an ambitious and experienced Residential Property Partner to join a great team.Role Overview:As a Residential Property Partner, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the firm's residential property practice, working with high-net-worth individuals, investors, and developers in both residential and commercial property matters. You will be responsible for managing and growing your own caseload, as well as mentoring and managing a team of junior solicitors and associates. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your experience, take on increased responsibility, and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, remortgages, and development work.
  • Provide high-level strategic advice to private clients, high-net-worth individuals, investors, and property developers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business development and growth within the residential property sector.
  • Manage, supervise, and mentor a team of solicitors and paralegals, ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the firm's strategy for growth in the residential property market, identifying new opportunities for expansion and offering innovative solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the firm to ensure an integrated approach to client service.
  • Play a key role in business development activities, including networking, attending industry events, and participating in marketing initiatives to raise the profile of the practice.
  • Oversee and manage the legal, regulatory, and financial aspects of property transactions to ensure compliance with current legislation.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a senior solicitor or associate within a residential property team, ideally with experience at a Top 500 law firm or a similar environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in residential property law, with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, commercial, and regulatory aspects of property transactions.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex residential property matters and high-value transactions.
  • Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to supervise and develop junior team members.
  • A proactive approach to business development and a drive to expand the residential property offering.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as required.
  • Ability to manage a high workload, prioritize tasks, and work to tight deadlines.
