Job Description: Residential Property Solicitor (3+ Years PQE)Location: Greater ManchesterSalary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)Industry: Legal (Legal 500 Firm)Overview:A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Greater Manchester is looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join their dynamic and expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated solicitor to manage a diverse caseload of residential property transactions within a supportive and professional environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold enfranchisement.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Manage transactions from inception to completion, handling all aspects of the conveyancing process.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Keep clients informed of developments and advise on legal implications throughout the process.
  • Assist in the development of junior members of the team, providing guidance and support where required.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and marketing activities to further promote the firm's residential property services.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in residential property law.
  • Proven track record in managing a variety of residential property transactions, from simple to complex matters.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal procedures.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and third parties.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently while managing a busy caseload.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and other relevant software.
  • Experience of supervising or mentoring junior team members would be an advantage.
