Description

  • Responsibility for risk team input into client and supplier contract reviews and preparation of tenders.
  • Managing conflict escalations and queries from the Client and Matter Inception team and the firm.
  • Wider experience of managing client and supplier contract review process ideal.
  • Assisting with internal investigations and SRA engagement.
  • Providing compliance training across the firm.
  • Supporting the Audit & Risk Committee with its rolling agenda and assisting in reporting to the Board at least annually on the Committee's activities.
  • Assisting with annual Practicing Certificate renewal process.
  • Maintaining and updating policies such as ABC, Modern Slavery and CFA.
  • Assisting the Director of Risk and Compliance with additional compliance reporting and analysis.

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Qualified lawyer, 2+ PQE
  • Prior experience in a risk and compliance role, either in-house or within a law firm
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SRA regulations
