Search is currently recruiting an Operational Excellence Professional to work with one of our clients within the Manchester Area. This position will focus on the End-to-End Record to Report process across global businesses.


Location: Hybrid (2 days on site, 3 days remote)
Contract Length: Until December 2025
Software Used: SAP



Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member for global, high-impact strategic projects driven by the Global Process Owner organisation.
  • Influence and collaborate with finance functions on the End-to-End Record to Report process through effective stakeholder management.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Lead and support process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives within the Record to Report processes.
  • Analyse data to identify improvement opportunities, create hypotheses, and manage the change process to ensure smooth deployment with minimal disruption.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through best practice sharing and visible, hands-on leadership.
  • Monitor control requirements and ensure the proper application of controls in the RtR process, resolving control gaps.
  • Create and maintain RtR process documentation, ensuring global process adherence and managing process deviations.
  • Deliver training to users within your area of expertise.
  • Develop and provide metrics to measure process quality and productivity for key initiatives.
  • Manage and drive smaller projects while acting as a subject matter expert within larger programmes.


Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


Experience Required:

  • 5-10 years of advanced experience in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • 5-10 years of advanced experience in process optimisation and business process re-engineering.
