The Company:

This is an incredible opportunity for a Product Developer to work across bags and accessories. You will be joining a well-established brand house on the high street, working on trend led fashion sportswear, based in central Manchester.You will be fashion conscious, but also able to translate trends into commercial product.

Job Role:

  • To work closely with the Head of Design, and Design teams to ensure the smooth operation of the sourcing and development of collections from initial design to delivery and to manage allocated seasons from initial design to SMS delivery where required.
  • Manage and publish the Critical Paths for each project from initial design to SMS delivery, hold weekly update meetings to ensure all CP’s are on plan, and to ensure that senior management are kept up to date.
  • Ensure that all allocated projects are on time in accordance with the CP, ensuring any problems are managed alongside the Head of Design
  • Work with the head of design to source suitable fabrics and develop/source all trims.
  • Assisting the designers in building fabric packs and sending out for all relevant seasons when required.
  • Ensuring the ranges meet the margin requirements as stipulated at the start of every season.
  • Manage all development sheets, such as range plan, line sheets, trim/fabric trackers, tech pack creation and management.
  • Compiling all relevant information including CADS, spec sheets, Tech Packs, product details etc. for factory briefing and proto comment stages.
  • Support the creation of Product Costings and Raw Materials into IT Systems prior to sales and handover to Production team
  • Work closely with the Production Team on the handover from development to production ensuring all relevant information is handed over.
  • Work closely with the Garment Tech team, attending fit sessions, and assisting in taking notes etc.
