Company Secretarial Officer French Legal Qualified

Salary:Up to circa £50,000 + 10% Bonus, Excellent Benefits & Visa Sponsorship

My client is a rapidly growing global organisation offering a range of services to the Professional Services sector globally. As part of their exciting growth plans an opportunity exists to join this business in a Company Secretarial Officer capacity, specifically to work with their French entities.

You will become an integral part of a high calibre team delivering an extensive range of corporate secretarial and governance services for the French entities of Global clients, responsible for providing high quality advice and work with others in the team to deliver an excellent client experience and ensure clients remain up to date with their statutory obligations.

Key Duties:

  • Delivering routine corporate secretarial and governance services for the French entities of Global clients
  • Managing the annual compliance diary for a portfolio of French entities, ensuring all statutory filings are completed and the corporate records are kept up-to-date

Undertaking administrative duties on behalf of our clients required to maintain compliance with the code de commerce

  • Incorporation/formation of French companies
  • Ad Hoc requests and administrative matters (authorised signatory requests, board minute extracts, secretary certificates, auditor requests, etc.) and attending to any notarisation/apostille requirements
  • Clients can range from SME through to global in terms of size/scale
  • The appointed person will need to have experience of direct communications with clients and strong administrative skills

The Person:

  • French legal qualification is essential
  • Fluent in French and English
  • A demonstrable interest in the company secretarial profession
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal across both French and English. Confident in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercial and practical outlook
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport, demonstrating credibility
  • Contributing towards monthly forecasting and work to ensure targets are met
  • High standard of professional and personal conduct and ethical behaviour
