A leading Manchester law firm are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide essential secretarial support to fee earners within the firms Property department. This position will involve assisting with a wide range of legal services for housebuilder and developer clients, with a particular focus on property-related matters.

You will be required to have previous legal secretarial experience.

This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility to balance in-office and remote working.

Legal Secretary Duties

  • Organise and prioritise workloads for fee earners
  • Manage fee earner diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare internal and external correspondence
  • Maintain general matter files, including opening and closing files
  • Prepare, submit, and download property searches.
  • Prepare, amend, and finalise legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms
