Residential Paralegal – Greater Manchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Paralegal/Conveyancing Assistant to join a forward-thinking legal and financial services team. The role focuses on supporting clients with residential property repossessions and ensuring a seamless, professional process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of the residential repossession process
  • Prepare memos of sale and auction packs
  • Review residential titles and provide detailed reports
  • Draft, review and issue sales contracts and related documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors and asset managers to ensure transactions progress smoothly
  • Respond to client queries, provide updates and maintain open communication
  • Manage contract exchanges and address post-sale matters, including distribution of surplus funds

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience in a Residential Paralegal role
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade C or above)
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems
  • Knowledge of legal systems and strong organisational abilities

Desirable:

  • A law degree or equivalent qualification
  • Familiarity with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
  • Experience in financial services or legal sectors, particularly in a paralegal capacity
