Legal Personal AssistantUpto £30k – Dependent on experience Full time – hybrid, 2 days working from home Based in South ManchesterMedlock Partners are proud to be partnering with a highly reputable law firm in identifying an experienced legal personal assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business built on passion, skill, and creativity, that is focused on driving long-term sustainable growth. The successful person will have previous Personal assistant experience within personal injury law and will have good knowledge of proclaim case management system.  Key Responsibilities:
  • To prepare correspondence and documents through audiotyping and word processing.
  • Daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with business procedure.
  • Prepare mail and enclosures for despatch if required.
  • To arrange for all copying to be done, in person if the admin assistant is not available to undertake the task.
  • Arrange meetings and to manage the fee earner diaries.
  • Provide support to other secretaries and the administration team as required.
  • Attend clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information.
  • Assist with delivering excellent levels of client care.
 Key requirements of the Legal Personal Assistant:
  • Proven experience as a personal assistant within personal injury law
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong word processing and audio typing skills
  • Solid knowledge of proclaim case management system
  • Experience of digital dictation, ideally Big Hand
  • Proven ability to work with a range of partners across a diverse business.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within a fast-paced environment
