Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research, prepare case summaries, and compile documentation to support solicitors and fee earners
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, statements, and briefs under the supervision of qualified lawyers
- Manage client files, ensuring that all information is accurate, up to date, and stored in accordance with firm policies
- Liaise with clients and third parties, providing a high level of professionalism and client care
- Assist in the preparation of court bundles, witness statements, and other necessary paperwork
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure cases progress efficiently and deadlines are met
Requirements
- Previous experience in a paralegal role, ideally within a commercial or litigation practice (although candidates from other legal backgrounds will be considered)
- Solid understanding of legal terminology, processes, and best practices
- Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and legal research tools
- A Law degree (LLB) or equivalent qualification is preferred, alongside a proven track record in delivering high-quality support to legal teams
