The Role
- Obtaining client ID and assisting in the preparation of engagement documentation.
- Overseeing property searches and drafting detailed mortgage and search reports.
- Obtaining title documents from the Land Registry and drafting Stamp Duty Land Tax forms.
- Assisting with invoicing, matter maintenance, and general administrative tasks such as opening, closing, and archiving files, post allocation, photocopying, and binding.
- Organising meetings and coordinating the team’s diaries to ensure smooth workflow.
Previous experience in a residential conveyancing role would be beneficial, though not essential, as training will be provided.
