Position: Paralegal - Serious Personal Injury Team (Polish Speaking)

Salary : up to £26,800 DOE

Location: Manchester (hybrid)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join our Serious Personal Injury team. This is a rare progression role offering a chance to make a real impact on client service while supporting the legal team to improve efficiency.

Role OverviewThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service throughout the life cycle of each case. Regular updates will be provided to clients in accordance with department service level agreements. The role will also involve supporting Fee Earners and Team Leaders to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.Key Duties:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on behalf of Fee Earners
  • Effectively manage a personal task list, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Assist Fee Earners with a variety of tasks, including document drafting, collation, and ensuring accuracy of initial documentation
  • Handle administrative tasks and coordinate medical appointments via the medical agency when necessary
  • Organise and attend telephone conferences with legal staff and third parties
  • Explain legal processes, court documents, and medical reports to clients and their carers
  • Attend conferences with counsel or court as required
  • Provide clients and third parties with regular updates on case progress
  • Support the recovery of costs/settlements from third parties
  • Assist the Manager and Fee Earners with additional tasks and responsibilities as required

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal, preferably within a Personal Injury department
  • Polish speaking (essential)
  • Familiarity with case management systems, especially Proclaim, is advantageous
  • A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to assist colleagues
