ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT / MANCHESTER / HYBRID / 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT/ UP TO £32,000 PLUS BENEFITS

We are currently looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us on a 12 Month Contract ideally starting February 2025.
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will be working within our large finance team based in Manchester City Centre on a hybrid basis looking after our UK and Belgium entities.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant:
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts for our Belgium and UK including meeting tight reporting deadlines to listed US parent company
- Variance analysis on monthly Opex reporting
- Liaise with internal VAT team as necessary
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations- AR, AP, Bank, Accruals and Prepayments
- Supporting Accounts Payable function including Ages Tolls costs invoice reconciliations
- Provision of cyclical and ad-hoc management information
- Supporting the finance administration role in the maintenance of the AR system
- Assistance with yearly audit preparation
- Supporting the Senior Finance team with ad hoc business improvement projects
Skills & Experience:
- Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified, or Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA or Qualified by experience
- Available to commit to a 12-month fixed term contract starting February 2025
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience of MS access if preferable
- Strong organisational skills
- Good relationship builder
