They’re now looking for an Assistant Technical Manager to help drive quality and compliance across their operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Technical, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining a strong quality culture. In this hands-on role, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer needs, regulations, and company objectives.
  • Managing and resolving customer complaints efficiently.
  • Leading internal audits and assisting with customer and external audits to maintain compliance.
  • Overseeing raw material and supplier approvals.
  • Driving hygiene standards and reporting on KPIs to support continuous improvement.

About You

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for food safety and quality. To succeed, you’ll need:

  • Technical experience, ideally in a chilled, frozen or high-care environment.
  • A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a similar discipline (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and labelling legislation.
  • Experience with internal and external audits, BRC, and customer codes of practice.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to work with colleagues to raise standards and drive improvements.
