The Role:My client is seeking a Freelance Document Controller to support their dynamic project teams. You will play a key role in managing project documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining efficient document control processes. Proficiency with ProjectWise or similar document management systems is essential, as you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking project documentation across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Use ProjectWise to store, track, and retrieve project information.
- Ensure compliance with industry and project-specific document control standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, including rolling stock and civils specialists, to provide documentation support.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth document workflows.
- Prepare and distribute reports, as required, to track document status and project progress.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within the rail, rolling stock, or civils sectors.
- Proficiency with ProjectWise or equivalent document management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a contractor environment is desirable.
