Our client, a global manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (mechanical bias) to join their team.

They pride themselves on being amongst the best in the industry and they are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to contribute to their ongoing success.

Job details:

  • Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.
  • Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Work on ways to implement improvements to prevent waste.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)
  • Strong Mechanical maintenance background (essential)
  • Electrical knowledge (essential)
  • Previous experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment (essential)

What’s on offer:

  • Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights) 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
  • Salary - £52,000 (inclusive of shift allowance)
