Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join their team in Manchester City Centre. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the operation of a bustling office, providing general office services, client services, and facilities support. What you'll do:

As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing internal photos, assisting with coordinating meetings and events, setting up meeting rooms to a high standard, checking supplies of various office essentials and handling incoming and outgoing post. You will also be responsible for performing reception duties such as greeting visitors. Additionally, you will be expected to cover for the Facilities Team Leader as needed.

* Manage internal photos including liaising with Marketing, external photographer and fee earners.

* Assist with coordinating meetings, booking meeting room facilities, arranging events.

* Set up meeting rooms to a high standard, moving equipment and furniture in preparation for meetings and seminars.

* Check supplies of coffee, tea and sugar, office paper stationery, meeting room consumables and after hours snacks.

* Responsibility for incoming and outgoing post including Digital mail room, courier forms, producing labels, general correspondence and file management.

* Perform reception duties such as opening door and greeting visitors.

* Monthly checking and replenishing of First Aid Boxes/stock.

* Cover for Facilities Team Leader as and when required.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Facilities Assistant role is someone who brings enthusiasm and a positive approach to tasks. You should have good communication skills both orally and in writing. The ability to plan and manage your own workload is essential along with strong organisational skills. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team. Discretion when dealing with sensitive information is crucial. Flexibility with responsibilities and working hours is also required.

* Standard GCSEs a minimum of: C for English Language; C for Maths. CILEx desirable.

* Enthusiastic, can-do and positive approach to tasks and situations.

* Good communication skills, both oral and written.

* Ability to plan and manage own workload and multiple tasks.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft and other commonly used software.

* Able to work either on own initiative or part of team.

* Ability to display discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

* Flexibility with responsibilities and working hours as required.
