Position: Site Manager

Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 per annum, plus company car or car allowance
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee all aspects of construction Planned Maintenance. This role is for a replacement Kitchen and Bathroom (K&B) social housing refurb project with an established, stable contractor based in Greater Manchester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating project strategy and design, ensuring safety, and managing on-site activities from inception to completion. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the social housing planned works refurbishment market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive health and safety culture.
- Supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain strong communication with key contacts.
- Manage and develop reporting staff.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of construction, building regulations, and legal guidelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and leadership skills.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Relevant certifications: SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CSCS Card.
