Are you an Aircraft Painter wanting to join a leading MRO in the UK and be part of a dynamic team going through an exciting period of growth?..

We are excited to be recruiting Aircraft Painters to join one of our Clients on a permanent basis in Manchester!

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing aircraft or components for work to prevent damage and to ensure good surface finish and paint coat adherence.
  • Carrying out paint stripping and cleaning.
  • Mixing and Application of paint primer.
  • Mixing and application of both solvent and water-based topcoat

Requirements:

  • Evidence of Formal Trade Training / Apprenticeship Aircraft Painting
  • Competence in all aspects of Exterior and Interior Refinishing
  • Fully Conversant with Solvent and Water based applications
  • Able to work to Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Structural Repair Manual Procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and implement requirements thereof
  • Must produce work to a high standard within time scales allowed.
  • Responsible for adherence to Health and Safety requisites.
  • Ability to work well within a team and be a good communicator
