Our client, a leading digital publishing house based in Manchester City Centre, is seeking a number of driven Media Sales Executives to join their team. With an extensive portfolio they offer innovative and impactful digital advertising solutions in the real estate sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to sell a highly sought-after product within a dynamic and growing market.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing client relationships and generating new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive and commercially-minded individual with a passion for media and the ability to build strong relationships. Due to the nature of our business, this role requires working hours to accommodate the US market.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and maximizing revenue.
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within advertising agencies and direct clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Present compelling advertising solutions and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital advertising.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing and creative.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
  • Work flexible hours to align with the US market.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a media sales or related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the digital media landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.1
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and self-starter.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working2 with CRM software.
  • Comfortable working hours to suit the US market.

Desirable Skills:

  • Existing network of contacts within advertising agencies in the North of England.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Experience selling cross-platform advertising solutions.
  • CIM or other relevant marketing qualification.
