We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for an Assembly/Mechanical Technician

The Job

Produce all seat plastics components to the highest quality standard, including but not
restricted to the following processes (scraping, tool making, vacuum forming, trimming, gluing and assembly)
Work within the COSHH guidelines and ensure correct wearing of appropriate PPE.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings and 1st and 3rd Angle projection
Assist in stock control/stores/inspection/part marking and packaging.
Ensure the workshop is maintained to a safe standard in accordance with company
EH&S policies/procedures.
Help out in the inspection area when required including packing and boxing up
components.
Kit components as required.

About you

Proven experience in Assembly
Experience using hand tools
Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME.
Able to interpret Assembly/Engineering drawings
To have a keen eye for detail.
