TSA surveying are currently working in partnership with a Building Surveying Consultancy who are currently looking for a Associate to join there social housing division.

This is a permanent role which will involve working with HousingAssetManagers to deliver stock condition surveys, repair surveys, damp and mould surveys on social housing properties across the UK.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate a team ofsurveyors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Strategically plan and overseeprojects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • To maintain professional relationship with the clients and resolve their queries at the earliest
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the end client, a Social Housing Provider, maintaining strong and positive relationships.
  • A good business acumen to identify and tap new opportunities in the form of clients
  • Excellent at prioritisingwork according to work load by exhibiting excellent time management and organisationalskills
  • Should have an ability to work in a team and follow the given instructions and procedures
  • Abilityto supervise and lead the team in the absence of the partner
  • Able to work under pressure and have an ability to meet the targeted deadline

Technical Expertise:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard.
  • Proficiency with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
  • Familiarity with Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), though this is less critical.

Software Proficiency:

  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity withassetmanagement software, with minimal involvement in QA responsibilities.

Location: Remote (Though the client does have multiple offices across the UK - London, Birmingham and Manchester)
